President of Ukraine's Peace Plan

According to ХВИЛЯ: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky presented the content of the 20 points of the peace plan being discussed within the framework of negotiations between Ukraine, the USA, and Russia. These negotiations have been ongoing for two months and involve the development of three main documents. The first is a trilateral document regarding security guarantees, the second is a bilateral document on security guarantees for Ukraine from the USA, and the third is a roadmap for Ukraine's prosperity until 2040.

Among the key points of the peace plan is the establishment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' personnel in peacetime at the level of 800 thousand people. The agreement also entails an unconditional non-aggression pact between Russia and Ukraine. An important component is the prospect of Ukraine's membership in the European Union within a specified timeframe. To address the issues of rebuilding the country, several funds are planned to be created with a total amount of 800 billion dollars.

Conditions and Prospects of the Agreement

After the agreement is signed, Ukraine must hold elections, and the agreement itself will be legally binding and supervised by the Peace Council. A complete ceasefire will come into effect only after the consent of all parties. Security guarantees will become valid after the agreement is approved by parliament or through a referendum.

Volodymyr Zelensky noted that a compromise on the issues being discussed was not found, and remarked: 'This is the most problematic part of the negotiations.'

The President of Ukraine also emphasized that 50% of the produced electricity is transferred to Ukraine, while another 50% is independently determined by the USA for its distribution. These factors highlight the complexity and importance of conducting negotiations in the context of the peace plan for Ukraine.

The presented peace plan is an important step in resolving the conflict in Ukraine and has the potential to significantly change the geopolitical situation in the region. The focus on security guarantees and the prospect of EU membership demonstrates Ukraine's desire to integrate into European structures, which could affect its long-term stability and development. At the same time, the absence of compromises on significant issues may complicate further negotiations and the implementation of the plan.
