Zelenskyy Shares Update on Daughter Oleksandra's Academic Achievements
Volodymyr Zelenskyy Discusses His Daughter in Recent Interview
According to Главком: During a conversation with journalist Alla Mazur, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed that his 21-year-old daughter, Oleksandra, has passed her exams, earned a bachelor's degree, and intends to pursue a master's program. The interview took place on the grounds of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, where a Russian attack on Kyiv during the night of June 15 caused a fire on the roof of the Dormition Cathedral. This setting underscored the ongoing war's impact on daily life in the capital.
Zelenskyy noted that Oleksandra Zelenska, who recently completed her university studies, achieved top marks on her final examinations. The head of state emphasized that his daughter makes her own decisions regarding whether to enroll in a master's program, expressing hope that this step would lead to a complete higher education.
'I think she will go for a master's. She decides for herself. She wants to, and it's the right thing. I believe this will be a full higher education' – Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Family Bonds Amid Wartime Challenges
In the interview, Zelenskyy also spoke about his children, including his 12-year-old son Kyrylo, confirming that both Oleksandra and Kyrylo are currently in Ukraine. 'We are close. She wants to share a bit about herself. I ask questions, though I don't have much time, and I really want to talk not with a child but with an adult,' the president added, highlighting the evolving nature of their relationship.
These details shed light on his daughter's growth and the family dynamics shaped by the country's difficult circumstances.
This interview underscores the significance of education and personal development for young people in Ukraine, even amid wartime hardships. Oleksandra Zelenska serves as an example of a young individual striving for academic success, which may inspire other Ukrainian youth.
