Meeting of the President of Ukraine with the Minister of Defense

According to Главком: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov on January 14, during which the priorities of the Ministry of Defense were identified. The main areas of focus for the ministry became:

• airspace defense
• strengthening technological components
• audit of defense spending

It is also planned to provide combat brigades with drones.

Zelensky emphasized the importance of air defense, stating:

During the meeting, the issue of closing financial deficits related to the defense sector was discussed. The president noted that:

Moreover, Zelensky highlighted that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine will propose systemic solutions to existing problems, adding:

'Thirdly, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine will propose systemic solutions to problems'. In the near future, the presentation of the new team of the Ministry of Defense is also planned, aimed at implementing these priorities.
