According to ХВИЛЯ: Kyiv is in talks with its international partners over the delivery of interceptor missiles. President Volodymyr Zelensky reviewed the current threat landscape with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, making the case that reducing bureaucratic hurdles in decision-making is essential because the pace of those decisions can mean the difference between life and death.

“We are working as hard as possible with every partner that can contribute to supplying interceptor missiles to shield against these irrational Russian attacks that target ordinary people, civilian lives, and non-military infrastructure,” Zelensky said.

During the conversation with Rutte, the two sides mapped out outreach to countries that are in a position to provide the needed missiles. According to Zelensky, the real bottleneck is not whether the missiles exist, but how quickly political choices are made.

The president thanked allies for their willingness to cooperate on deliveries and underscored how important collective international efforts are.

“All bureaucracy must be removed and the necessary political decisions taken. Every single day, lives here in Ukraine depend on the resolve of our partners in Europe and America,” Zelensky added.
