The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced the launch of a dual citizenship mechanism with five countries around the world. This decision will concern Ukrainians living in Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, the USA, and Canada.

After a meeting with representatives of the World Congress of Ukrainians, which took place on Tuesday, Zelensky stated: 'We discussed dual citizenship. The law has been adopted; in the near future, the government will approve the necessary regulations, and the first countries to apply the norms will be Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, the USA, and Canada. This is a step towards even greater unity among Ukrainians around the world.'

The meeting participants also discussed issues of support for Ukrainian defenders fighting at the front. Representatives of the Congress reported on the allocation of funds for the purchase of drones and pickups for the needs of the army. Zelensky expressed sincere gratitude to the meeting participants for their support of Ukraine.
