Zelensky approves 40-day SBU campaign aimed at ending the war
Operation to influence Russia
According to ХВИЛЯ: President Volodymyr Zelensky has greenlit a 40-day influence operation by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) designed to pressure Russia into ending its war. The announcement came via social media following a briefing by Major General Yevgeniy Khmara. That briefing covered Ukraine's strategy of long-range and medium-range sanctions, as well as the SBU's frontline achievements-particularly those of the Alpha Special Operations Center.
For several months running, the SBU has posted the highest performance metrics in defending Ukrainian positions on the front, a feat made possible by deploying various types of drones. The Alpha Center has become the top unit for neutralizing enemy personnel and equipment. During the meeting, the president and SBU leadership also discussed challenges in Ukraine’s internal security, though Zelensky did not disclose specifics from that part of the conversation.

Ukraine’s active wartime measures
This operation underscores Ukraine’s proactive approach in the war against Russia, with a clear emphasis on cutting-edge technology and influence tactics. The use of drones and strategic sanctions signals that Kyiv is determined not only to defend but also to actively shape the conflict’s trajectory.
Given the current situation, the attention to internal security matters also suggests a comprehensive governance strategy under wartime conditions.
As Ukraine intensifies its military strategies, President Zelenskyy has also emphasized the urgency of securing air defense systems to bolster national security. In a recent statement, he outlined the critical timeline for diplomats regarding the delivery of these essential resources. This move reflects the broader context of Ukraine's defensive measures and the pressing need for international support.
