Zelensky met with Kellogg: what they agreed on with Trump's envoy

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Trump's envoy, Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg. The head of state described the conversation as productive, emphasizing the importance of cooperation with the American administration.

According to Zelensky, the main topic of discussion was practical steps toward a just peace. They discussed joint actions to ensure peace in Ukraine, including strengthening air defense, joint production, and procurement of defensive weapons together with Europe. The necessity of strengthening sanctions against Russia and its allies in aggression was also discussed.

Zelensky also expressed hope for continued support for Ukraine from the U.S. He added that Moscow will not stop its aggression unless it is restrained by force. At a separate point, he expressed gratitude to President Trump for support and positive signals for Ukraine, and he also thanked the American people for their support in their struggle for independence. It should be noted that the U.S. is currently considering new funding for Ukraine, as well as announcing the supply of a new batch of weapons and sanctions against Russia.
