Zheleznyak revealed a network of anonymous Telegram channels that serve the Office of the President
People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak stated that around the «Mindychgait» there was an active network of anonymous Telegram channels that, according to him, serve the Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak and relay his position. The politician announced a separate investigation into this world of Telegram «dumpsters» and their role in attempts to cover up the story with Mindych's tapes. This information is reported by the channel «Iron deputy».
Telegram channels of the Office of the President and Mindychgait
According to Zheleznyak, when the authorities stopped relying on classical media, they bet on anonymous Telegram channels. After the publication of NABU and SAP's first materials about Mindych, most of these platforms simply ignored the news, and later synchronously launched a wave of discrediting the investigation.
The people's deputy describes how channels associated with the authorities initially convinced the audience that NABU's case would «drag on for years», then accused anti-corruption agencies of «black PR» and even tried to present the publicity of the tapes as work «in the interests of Russia» or the political opposition. Separately, Zheleznyak mentioned the blogger Zolkin, who initially publicly stated that the Mindych tapes do not exist and that the person in question was allegedly not in Ukraine, but after the searches, he sharply changed his rhetoric and deleted previous posts.
In the news, the politician highlights the main messages that, according to him, were massively promoted by «loyal» Telegram channels:
-
silence of the first NABU and SAP message about Mindych
-
discrediting NABU's video and doubts about the authenticity of the tapes
-
accusations of journalists of «bot farms» and working for the opposition
-
attempts to tie Mindychgait to «conspiracies» of the West or Russian special services.
Telegram channels and pressure on law enforcement
In the final part of the video, Zheleznyak draws attention to a fragment of a broadcast where one of the media speakers essentially reproaches the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Maliuk for his refusal to «intervene» in the internal political stories surrounding oligarchs and the entourage of Bankova. The people's deputy interprets this as a public attempt to pressure the Security Service through «controlled» commentators and a hint at expectations for politically motivated actions from the SBU.
Zheleznyak asserts that the President's Office is trying to use anonymous Telegram channels and loyal bloggers as a tool to shape the desired picture around corruption scandals and pressure on law enforcement agencies. At the same time, he positively notes Maliuk's position, which, according to the deputy's assessment, «shunned» such initiatives. The politician promised a series of new investigations about the connections of the Telegram network with the President's Office and the influence of these channels on the information agenda.
Earlier, we reported that the people's deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak established who exactly prepared the so-called «Mindych folders».
