Ukraine women's U-20 team lost to Bulgaria at the Euro: battle for 5-8 places
According to glavcom.ua: The Ukrainian women's basketball team U-20 lost to Bulgaria with a score of 60:66 in the second stage match of the European Championship Division B. The opponents secured their victory in the first quarter, gaining a 10-point lead and winning the first period with a score of 19:9.
During the game, the Ukrainians tried to narrow the gap to 3-5 points, but Bulgaria constantly maintained the advantage. The most productive player of the Ukrainian team was Elina Sinyakova, who scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. After the defeat to Bulgaria, our girls will fight for 5-8 places in the European tournament, and their next match will be against Slovakia.
