The Ukrainian women's national team learned its opponents in the EuroBasket 2027 qualifying
According to glavcom.ua: The Ukrainian women's basketball team has learned its opponents in the first round of the EuroBasket 2027 qualifying, which took place in Munich, Germany. Our girls are in Group E, where they are scheduled to play against the national teams of Montenegro, Bulgaria, and Azerbaijan.
The Montenegrin national team, which last played at the EuroBasket 2025, won the qualifying group. The Bulgarian national team last participated in the European Championship in 1997, while the Azerbaijani team attempted to qualify for the European Championship in their last qualifying round.
The matches of the first round are planned to be held from November 9 to 19, 2025, and from March 8 to 18, 2026. Each international window will have three game days for each team.
Two best teams from each group, as well as the three best teams finishing in third place, will advance to the second round of qualification. Additionally, seven more teams will join these participants to compete in the qualification for the 2026 World Championship.
The Ukrainian women's national team is preparing for matches against strong opponents and will certainly showcase its uniqueness and determination on the international stage. We believe in our girls!
