Ukraine's U22 Women's Volleyball Team Earned a Spot at the Youth Euro 2026

According to glavcom.ua: The Ukrainian U22 women's volleyball team had a successful performance in the qualifiers for the Euro 2026 championship. The team secured their participation in the tournament, which will take place in The Hague (Netherlands) from July 6 to July 12, 2026. Our volleyball players demonstrated confident play, winning matches in the qualifying group B:

• Denmark U-22 – Ukraine U-22 – 0:3 (12:25, 23:25, 12:25)

• Ukraine U-22 – Latvia U-22 – 3:1 (25:22, 25:19, 22:25, 25:16)

Under the guidance of Havriil Yegiazaro, our athletes took first place in the group and secured their spot in the European Championship.

Ukraine Ranked 12th in the World Volleyball Teams Rankings

The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) announced an increase in the ranking of the Ukrainian women's team by 12 positions after the Nations League 2025. Our athletes ousted Serbia from the rankings and now occupy the 12th place in the world. The improvement in the team's position became possible due to successful performances and victories over strong opponents, indicating a gradual increase in the team's level.

The Ukrainian team shows impressive results both in qualifying matches for the youth European Championship 2026 and in brilliant performances at international tournaments, which indicates the steady development of women's volleyball in Ukraine and its growing prestige in the world.
