Two silver medals for Zhytomyr Polytechnic at Ukraine's 3x3 basketball championship

Both the senior side, Polissia-Zhytomyr, and the U-16 squad, Polissia Polytechnic, reached their finals but were edged out in overtime and had to settle for silver. The dramatic extra periods showed just how closely matched the best 3x3 teams in the country were.

Teams and Rosters

Polissia-Zhytomyr played in the men's final with Danylo Markiv, Vadym Dovidnyi, Vladyslav Lukinskyi, and Oleksii Adedyran, facing ZSO SumDU but losing in overtime. The U-16 lineup of Polissia Polytechnic featured Artem Levitskyi, Bohdan Nechai, Ivan Nechai, and Bohdan Melnyk; they battled Drake Office in the final and also fell in overtime.

Earlier, during the preliminary stage in Ivano-Frankivsk, Polissia-Zhytomyr Polytechnic had beaten BC SumDU in overtime, confirming the high quality of squads from the Zhytomyr region.
