EBRD allocates millions for energy and the port of Chornomorsk: deal details

Today, an important meeting took place with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Odile Renaud-Basso. The cooperation with EBRD in areas such as transport infrastructure, energy, and corporate governance of state enterprises was discussed.

Sustainable Heating in Ukraine

One of the key topics at the meeting was ensuring sustainable heating, especially in areas near the front. The issue of attracting additional resources for this purpose was also discussed.

Special attention was drawn to supporting Ukrzaliznytsia and signing a contract for the supply of 55 electric locomotives in cooperation with EBRD and the World Bank. This is an important step in ensuring the functionality of the company in wartime conditions.

Development of the Port of Chornomorsk

Particular attention was paid to the development of the Port of Chornomorsk. Preparing the competition for the first terminals and container terminals is an important step in creating a transparent public-private partnership in the port sector.
