Ukrainian student missing in Italy found hanged

According to glavcom.ua: The Ukrainian student Maria Bugayeva, who had been missing in Italy since July 4 of this year, was found hanged on an olive tree near the village of Carovigno. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing Messaggero.

According to the report, the girl used a sheet as a rope. Maria's relatives have already been informed about this tragedy and are preparing to travel to Italy.

Media also report that several hours before her disappearance, the girl learned that her internship was supposed to end on July 6 and could not be extended. An investigation is underway to determine if this influenced her decision to commit suicide.

Before leaving behind several personal belongings in her room, including her passport, mobile phone, and a note with several numbers, the girl made a bank transfer to her brother. The investigation into this case is ongoing.

A search operation is also ongoing in Germany for a nine-year-old Ukrainian girl who has been missing for more than a week. On June 3, Valeria went to school but never arrived for classes. Video cameras showed that she did not get on her usual bus to school.

The Italian tragedy of Maria Bugayeva and the German disappearance of the girl raise concerns among the public and keep the relevance of expanding search efforts for missing people.
