Convenient and without unnecessary trips: how to arrange a pension while living abroad
Ukrainians living abroad can now receive their pension or update it hassle-free through the website of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. All you need to do is log into your personal account using an electronic signature or BankID and select the required service.
Submitting an application for a pension or restoring payments has become even easier - you only need to upload copies of the necessary documents, such as your passport, identification code, and documents confirming your work history.
To receive pension payments, you must confirm your residence annually. This can be done by obtaining the relevant certificate from the consulate or by undergoing video verification on the PFU website.
If you need an electronic signature, it can be obtained at the consulate or using the 'Diia' app.
Pension payments can be received either to a Ukrainian or an international bank account - just specify the relevant details when submitting your application.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine provides the opportunity to receive social assistance if the pension is not assigned. For this, you also need to visit the PFU portal and submit the appropriate application.
Now Ukrainians abroad can calmly receive pension payments and social assistance without the need to immediately return home.
