Ukrainian Forces Strike Moscow Region Space Communications Hub for Second Time

According to Главком: On June 30, Ukraine’s Defense Forces launched a second attack on the Dubna space communications center located in the Moscow region. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the event. This facility is used by Russia for intelligence gathering and coordinating the activities of its occupation forces in Ukraine. Notably, the distance from Ukraine’s state border to this center exceeds 500 kilometers.

Zelenskyy emphasized that this particular satellite communications facility is specifically employed for reconnaissance and coordination of Russia’s occupation contingent in Ukraine. He also noted that Ukraine’s Defense Forces had previously struck four similar Russian centers, located not only in the Moscow region but also in the Vladimir region.

Massive Drone Attack

Additionally, on June 30, the Moscow region experienced a large-scale drone assault. Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) targeted the Dubna space communications center, and drones were also detected over Tula. Reports indicate that UAVs were active across the entire region for nearly the entire night.

Concluding his remarks, the president thanked Ukrainian soldiers for their precision and stated, “We are preparing corresponding actions against other similar enemy facilities as well. Glory to Ukraine!”
