Successful Strikes by Ukrainian Defenders

According to ХВИЛЯ: In the early hours of February 25, Ukrainian forces successfully struck Russian military positions, destroying significant enemy equipment and personnel. Among the confirmed targets hit were:

  • A launcher from the S-400 Triumf long-range air defense missile system;
  • A combat vehicle from the Pantsir-S1 air defense missile and artillery system.

Both of these high-value targets were located near the settlement of Sofiyivka in temporarily occupied Crimea. These strikes demonstrate Ukraine's growing capability to target advanced Russian military assets far behind the front lines.

Furthermore, in the occupied part of Donetsk region near Myrolyubivka, a BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system was destroyed. Additional strikes were confirmed against concentrations of Russian personnel in the areas of Novogrygorivka (Zaporizhzhia region) and Zuhres (Donetsk region). Military officials are still finalizing the assessment of total enemy losses.

"The Defense Forces of Ukraine will continue to systematically strike the enemy's forces and assets, as well as areas where the personnel of the Russian aggressor are concentrated, thereby depriving it of the capability to conduct offensive operations."

Intensification of Ukrainian Military Operations

These attacks signal an intensification of Ukrainian military activity and their capacity to inflict significant damage on Russian forces. The destruction of modern air defense systems like the S-400 is particularly significant, as it degrades the enemy's ability to protect its airspace, which could impact the course of future operations.

Maintaining this initiative and conducting systematic strikes against the aggressor's positions could play a key role in the development of the conflict and help strengthen Ukraine's defensive posture.
