According to glavcom.ua: In his interview for 'Glavkom', Hero of Ukraine Valentyn Manko stated that the Russians had been preparing for the autumn offensive for a year and were trying to break through in various directions, focusing particularly on Pokrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Novopavlivka directions.
According to Colonel Manko, the situation in the Pokrovsk sector has become more stable, with the enemy being surrounded near Dobropillia, although they sent elite Russian units there, but according to assessments, it was possible to keep the situation under control.
“The Russians are sending their best forces there – as it was in Kursk, bringing in airborne brigades, marines, trying to unblock their forces. As for advancing further in this area, I think they are not even dreaming of that,” he said.
In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian troops are trying to move towards Pokrovsk and Mykhailivka, although the situation is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy is actively striking at populated areas.
Also, in the Zaporizhzhia region, the enemy has concentrated two armies aimed at breaking through to Kamianske and Prymorske, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to halt the enemy's offensive, with the 33rd and 210th separate assault regiments effectively conducting repeated clearance operations and not allowing the enemy to secure these territories.
During the interview, Hero of Ukraine Valentyn Manko spoke about the Russians' preparations for the offensive in eastern Ukraine, emphasizing the stabilization of the situation under the control of Ukrainian troops in some directions. The Russian Federation is trying to move forward, but the efforts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine allow for the enemy's advance to be restrained.
