According to glavcom.ua: The IOC responded to false information spread by Russian media, citing the IOC. The statement that appeared in the media is not an official comment from the IOC, which has avoided commenting on political events.
Moreover, another sports organization, ISU, also reacted to the request of 'Glavkom' regarding the aggressive stance of Russian athletes. ISU stated that it takes issues of athletes' behavior and compliance with rules seriously, and any decisions or actions will be communicated through the organization's official channels.
