Over 1,400 Families in Frontline Areas Receive More Than UAH 27.6 Million Through Winter Support Initiative

According to Рубрика — Суспільство: As part of the Winter Support Initiative, 1,424 families living in frontline zones have been granted a one-time payment totaling over UAH 27.6 million, with each household receiving UAH 19,400. This financial aid targets households from 11 vulnerable categories that require assistance during these challenging times.

The program's total budget for these payments exceeds UAH 7.4 billion. Funding is provided by both international and national humanitarian organizations. Some of these funds are channelled through the Ministry of Social Policy, Family, and Unity of Ukraine's Humanitarian Account, held at the National Bank of Ukraine. Additional contributions come from global partners such as:

• UNICEF
• Ukrainian Red Cross Society
• UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees)
• and other humanitarian agencies

Applications to receive the payment remain open until October 30, 2026. They can be submitted at Pension Fund service centers, administrative service centers (CNAPs), or local government offices, depending on the community's classification. This program specifically assists families residing in frontline territories designated under the first List.
