According to Главком: Ukrainian forces engaged in 146 combat clashes across the front line on March 20. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the most intense enemy offensive activity was recorded on the Pokrovsk axis, where Ukrainian troops repelled 28 assaults. This marks the 1,486th day of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, a conflict that continues to shape European security.
The enemy conducted 58 airstrikes and dropped 163 guided aerial bombs over the course of the day. Furthermore, Russian forces deployed 5,285 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,856 artillery strikes against Ukrainian positions and settlements. On the Sloviansk axis, Ukrainian forces recorded 6 enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Rai-Oleksandrivka, Yampol, and Platonivka, with one ongoing engagement.
On the Kostiantsynivka axis, 18 assaults occurred near Kostiantsynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Rusynyi Yar, and Sofiyivka. On the Oleksandrivka axis, 2 attack attempts were recorded in the areas of Ternove and Kalynivske, along with an airstrike on Pokrovsk. On the Huliaipole axis, Ukrainian forces repelled 19 attacks in the areas of Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, Zelene, Staroukrainka, Varvarivka, and Luhivske, and recorded airstrikes on Hirke, Huliaipilske, Novoselivka, Dolynka, Kopani, and Trudove, where 2 engagements are ongoing.
On the Orikhiv axis, an attack occurred in the Stepnohirsk area, along with an airstrike on Komyshuvakha. On the Prydniprovske axis, one engagement and an airstrike on Olhivka were recorded. Overall, the frontline situation remains tense, with active combat operations on several axes.
