According to Главком: The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports intense combat activity across multiple sectors of the front. A total of 151 hostile engagements occurred over the past day, highlighting the severe and ongoing pressure on Ukrainian defenses.
Since the start of the day, Russian forces launched 45 airstrikes, deploying 145 guided aerial bombs. The enemy also utilized 5,927 'kamikaze' drones to target Ukrainian positions. Furthermore, 2,611 artillery and mortar strikes were recorded against Ukrainian troops and settlements.
Combat Activity by Sector
The Pokrovsk sector remains a critical hotspot. Preliminary reports indicate 94 invaders were eliminated there, with 30 wounded. Ukrainian forces also destroyed:
- one tank;
- ten automotive vehicles;
- 35 shelters;
- two UAV control points;
- nine units of automotive transport.
Additionally, 179 drones of various types were neutralized or suppressed in this area.
On the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the enemy conducted 70 shelling attacks, two of which involved multiple launch rocket systems. In the South-Slobozhanskyi sector, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions three times near Staritsa, Vovchanski Khutory, and towards Okhrimivka. One attack was noted on the Kupiansk axis in the area of Nova Krugliakivka.
On the Lyman axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled six assault attempts towards Drobysheve, Lyman, and near the settlements of Serednie and Nadiia. In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy made three attempts to advance near Zakytne, Riznykivka, and towards Rai-Oleksandrivka, with one assault still ongoing.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the aggressor attempted once to improve its tactical position by attacking towards Kostiantynivka. The Kostiantynivka direction saw 19 assaults on positions near the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar, and towards Illinivka, Sofiyivka, Mykolaipillia, Novopavlivka, and Kostiantynivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 51 attacks, with two assaults continuing. On the Oleksandrivsk axis, occupiers attacked seven times near the settlements of Oleksandrograd, Zelenskyi Hai, Novomykolaivka, and towards Pryvillia and Novyi Zaporizhzhia. The Huliaipole direction recorded 15 attacks near Huliaipole, Olenokostiantynivka, Myrne, Rivnopillia, and towards Zaliznychne, with three assault actions still in progress.
This reporting comes on the 1,497th day of Russia's full-scale invasion, underscoring the war's protracted and grinding nature. The conflict has evolved into a war of attrition, heavily dependent on artillery, drones, and fortified defensive lines.
The data confirms the frontline situation remains extremely tense, with significant combat engagements and active attacks from both sides. The increased use of airstrikes and kamikaze drones points to the continued intensity of military operations. This phase of the war emphasizes the critical need for sustained military support and international assistance to bolster Ukraine's defensive capabilities.
The escalating intensity of combat engagements on the front lines is not an isolated incident. Just days prior, the General Staff reported 136 frontline clashes within a single day, indicating a troubling trend in the ongoing conflict. This surge in military activity underscores the persistent challenges faced by Ukrainian defenses, as the situation continues to evolve rapidly.
