56 years since the birth of Hero of Ukraine Oleksandr Anishchenko: the life of an SBU special forces officer

According to Велика українська енциклопедія: Today, December 17, marks 56 years since the birth of Colonel of the Security Service of Ukraine Oleksandr Hryhorovych Anishchenko. This true hero became a participant in the Russian-Ukrainian war and was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine in 2015.

Oleksandr Anishchenko was born into a sporting family in the city of Sumy. He graduated from a local school and studied at the Sumy State Pedagogical Institute, working simultaneously as a physical education teacher and engaging in swimming.
