According to Главком: Ukrainian forces were engaged in 206 separate combat clashes across the front on February 25, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The enemy's activity included missile and air strikes, alongside numerous artillery bombardments. The most intense fighting was concentrated on the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka axes, which remain focal points of Russian offensive pressure.

During the day, the enemy launched two missile attacks, employing 43 missiles in total. They also conducted 54 air strikes, releasing 180 guided aerial bombs. Russian forces deployed 4,070 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,308 artillery attacks on Ukrainian troop positions and settlements.

Key Sectors and Attacks

On the South-Slobozhan direction, the enemy attacked once, conducted three air strikes, dropped eight guided bombs, and carried out 86 artillery bombardments, including four using multiple-launch rocket systems. In this same sector, Russian forces mounted 13 assaults near areas including Staritsa, Pishchane, Kruhle, Nesterne, and Chuhunivka, as well as towards Zelene and Okhrimivka. One engagement in this area is ongoing.

  • On the Kupiansk axis, Ukrainian forces repelled five attacks near Kruhliakivka and towards Kurylivka, Bohuslavka, and Novoplatonivka.
  • On the Lyman axis, 13 attacks were halted towards Chervonyi Stav, Novoiehorivka, Drobycheve, Stavky, Lyman, and near Zarichne and Novoselivka.
  • On the Sloviansk axis, Ukrainian troops repelled eight attempts to advance near Yampil, Zakytne, and towards Rai-Oleksandrivka.

On the Kramatorsk axis, Russian occupiers made two attacks near Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Bondarne. On the Kostiantynivka axis, the enemy stormed positions 21 times near Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Pleshiivka, Rusin Yar, and towards Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Berestok, Stepanivka, Sofiyivka, and Novoplatonivka. Two clashes here are still in progress.

On the Pokrovsk axis, the enemy carried out 41 attacks near Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Udachne, Muravka, Filiia, and towards Bilytske, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, and Novopidhorodne. Three engagements are ongoing in this sector. On the Oleksandrivsk axis, the aggressor attacked eight times near Terrove, Zlahoda, and towards Verbove and Vyshneve. Air strikes targeted Ivanivka, Oleksandragrad, Malomykhailivka, and Pysantsi.

On the Huliaipole axis, Ukrainian forces repelled 32 attacks near Dobropillia, Huliaipole, and towards Zaliznychne, Staroukrainka, Hirke, Varvarivka, Olenokostiantynivka, Sviatopetrivka, and Charivne, with three attacks still continuing. Air strikes hit Verkhnia Tersa, Tersianka, Zelene, Shevchenkivske, Vozdvyzhivka, Dolynka, and Kopani.

No offensive actions were recorded on the Orikhiv and Prydniprovsk directions. However, guided aerial bombs were used against Orikhiv, Preobrazhentsi, and Veselianka. As of February 25, this marked the 1,464th day of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.

The rising intensity of combat along the front underscores the protracted nature of the conflict. The heavy fighting on key axes like Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka indicates both sides are escalating military efforts to secure strategically vital territories, which will likely shape the conflict's trajectory in the coming months.
