The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Opens Doors for Youth: How to Become a Diplomat
According to МЗС: On December 22, students and faculty of the Institute of History, Law, and International Relations of Sumy State Pedagogical University named after Anton Makarenko visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
During the meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleksandr Mishchenko, key priorities for the country's foreign policy, the role of diplomacy in protecting national interests, and opportunities for professional realization for young people in diplomatic service were discussed.
Oleksandr Mishchenko urged students to consider diplomacy as a possible career field, emphasizing the importance of professional training, responsibility, and motivation for working in diplomatic service.
Excursion and Cooperation
At the end of the visit, the guests toured the Ministry, where they learned about the history of the building, the work of diplomats, and the exhibition displays.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine plans to continue supporting educational initiatives and developing cooperation with higher educational institutions to build the human resource potential in the Ukrainian diplomatic service.
