According to glavcom.ua: Ukraine annually honors the memory of the Holodomor victims in November. The Holodomors of 1921-1923, 1932-1933, and 1946-1947 were tragedies that resulted in millions of people dying from artificially created famine and the repressive policies of the Soviet regime.
The Day of Memory of the Holodomor victims was established in 1998 and is now commemorated across the country. In 2025, services, the 'Light a Candle' campaign, and a moment of silence are planned to honor the memory of those who perished during those terrible years.
