221 Combat Clashes in One Day: Pokrovsk Sector Sees Highest Enemy Activity

According to Главком: On May 15, a total of 221 combat engagements were recorded along the front line. The enemy launched two missile strikes and 55 aerial attacks, dropping 155 guided bombs. During the fighting, the adversary deployed 5,453 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,187 artillery shellings. This marks the 1,542nd day of the full-scale war, highlighting the ongoing intensity of the conflict as both sides continue to suffer losses.

Frontline Situation

In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk sectors, the enemy conducted one airstrike using 4 guided bombs and fired 41 artillery rounds. One assault was recorded there. On the South-Slobozhanskyi axis, Russian forces attacked 8 times, while near Kupiansk, a single assault targeted the direction of Kindrashivka. The Lyman sector saw heavy fighting, with Ukrainian troops repelling 8 enemy assaults. In the Sloviansk area, the adversary launched two attacks toward Rai-Oleksandrivka, and one assault was noted in the Oleksandrivka sector. No combat actions were reported in the Kramatorsk direction, but the Kostiantynivka axis experienced 18 enemy attacks.

The most intense battles unfolded in the Pokrovsk sector, where the enemy carried out 30 assaults. Ukrainian forces eliminated 89 Russian soldiers and wounded 27 others there. Additionally, the following enemy assets were destroyed in this area:

• 1 artillery piece
• 2 vehicles damaged
• 123 shelters
• 1 drone control post
• 2 artillery pieces

Furthermore, 221 enemy drones were either destroyed or suppressed.

In the Huliaipole sector, 26 attacks were recorded, while the Orikhiv direction saw no storming actions. The enemy launched three assaults in the Pridniprovskyi sector. Overall, the situation remains tense, with active combat continuing across multiple frontlines.

These events underscore the sustained high intensity of fighting in various regions of Ukraine, reflecting the enemy's efforts to maintain pressure on Ukrainian positions. At the same time, Ukrainian forces are actively repelling attacks and inflicting losses on the adversary, demonstrating a strong resistance and determination to defend their territory.
