According to glavcom.ua: Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of all those who lost their lives due to the war. Today we will remember Ivan Bezzub.

Ivan Bezzub, a major in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, died on March 8, 2022, near the village of Kulazhyntsi as a result of a Mi-24 helicopter being shelled by Russian troops. He was born on July 7, 1995, in the city of Starokostiantyniv in Khmelnytskyi region.

«While performing a flight combat mission to repel the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, the crew of our brigade's Mi-24 helicopter, consisting of Colonel Maryniak Oleksandr Myroslavovych and Captain Bezzub Ivan Romanovych, was killed,» the press service of the 16th separate brigade of army aviation 'Brody' reported.

Ivan Bezzub graduated from the Kharkiv National University of Air Forces named after Ivan Kozhedub and served in the 16th army aviation brigade. Ivan's dedication and courage were recognized with the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi of the 3rd degree.

Ukrainians honor the memory of those who died at the hands of Russian invaders by lighting candles and commemorating them during a moment of silence. They sacrificed their lives for the freedom and independence of Ukraine, and we will always remember their contribution.
