According to glavcom.ua: On July 27, Ukraine celebrates Medical Workers' Day and Whistlers' Day. Believers also commemorate the memory of Saint Great Martyr Panteleimon, the physician; Saint Clement.
Previously, this holiday was celebrated on a different date, but due to events related to Russian aggression, it was decided to change the date of celebration. On July 27, the population honors the heroic medics and their selflessness.
The Ministry of Health calls on all citizens to join in honoring the medical staff, as it is thanks to their efforts that we will overcome the challenges of war and pandemic.
