According to Главком: On December 29, 2023, cloudy weather, snow, ice, wind gusts, and cold temperatures are expected in Ukraine. According to forecasters, the temperature at night will fluctuate from minus 1 to minus 6 degrees, while in the Carpathians, it may drop to minus 9 degrees. During the day, the temperature will range from minus 4 degrees to plus 1 degree, with temperatures in the extreme south of Ukraine expected to be between 1 to 4 degrees above zero.

The wind on this day will be north-western at a speed of 7-12 m/s. In the Right Bank, except for Transcarpathia, wind gusts of up to 15-20 m/s may occur. In the capital, Kyiv, temperatures are forecasted to be 2-4 degrees below zero at night, and around 0 degrees during the day.
