Deputies in Lutsk Charged with $30 Thousand Bribe for Construction Permit

According to НАБУ: A bribery scheme among local deputies was uncovered in Lutsk. For $30,000, they promised to expedite the development of a land plot for a residential complex. Former MPs conspired to gain illegal benefits, but they were exposed by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office. As a result of the joint operation of NABU and SAP, deputies of the regional and city councils of Volyn were charged with corruption schemes. The criminal group attempted to exploit their status to receive a bribe for the expedited development of the land. Now they have to explain their actions in court.
