According to glavcom.ua: A joyful event occurred in the family of the famous biathlete Olena Pidgrushna – she gave birth to a son and named him David. It is worth noting that Olena previously married a serviceman named Rostyslav.

Olena Pidgrushna is a well-known Olympic champion and a prizewinner of world competitions in biathlon. Her last performance on international stages took place in March 2023, but the athlete has not yet announced her retirement.

At the European Youth Olympic Festival, the Ukrainian sports team showed commendable results. They took 10th place in the overall medal standings, winning 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals.

The most success for Ukraine in these competitions came from judo. Ukrainian athletes also earned medals in swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, artistic gymnastics, and table tennis.
