The Ministry of Social Policy is submitting a draft law to increase financial assistance for childbirth. According to the new project, mothers will receive 50 thousand hryvnias as a one-time payment and significantly larger monthly payments. The Deputy Minister emphasizes that this will allow women to feel financially independent. The new system will cover women without insurance experience, who currently remain without state support. The draft law is already submitted to the government, and its implementation is expected to start on January 1, 2026. This initiative is just part of a larger reform to support families with children, aimed at ensuring women's financial independence and supporting families in Ukraine.
