Acer Introduces Two New Smart Glasses Models

According to НВ — Техно: On June 3, 2025, Acer launched two new smart glasses models: the AR Vision GR0 and the GI0. The AR Vision GR0, identified as model GR100F, features a resolution of 1920×1080 in 2D and 3840×1080 in 3D. Weighing just 69 grams, it is equipped with dual micro OLED displays that refresh at 60 Hz. Each screen delivers 200 nits of brightness and an impressive contrast ratio of 50,000:1, covering 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The visual experience is comparable to viewing a 172-inch screen from a distance of 6 meters.

Power for the AR Vision GR0 is drawn from a connected smartphone or laptop via a wired link. These glasses are compatible with Android, iOS, and Windows. For added convenience, they come with a detachable light shield and a magnetic mount for nearsighted correction lenses. The device also integrates 3DoF sensors, accelerometers, and magnetometers for spatial tracking.

Key Features of the Acer GI0 Model

The Acer GI0 (GI100) operates wirelessly using Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 modules. Weighing only 46 grams, it pairs with Android 12 and iOS 15 through the companion app Acer AspireSync. A standout feature is its artificial intelligence, powered by the Google Gemini assistant.
