Krasnodar Airport resumed operations after closure in 2022

Today, September 11, the airport in Krasnodar has resumed operations after being closed in February 2022 due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Both terminals, the airfield, and special equipment are ready to accept flights. The staffing potential is preserved, and all employees have the necessary skills and training experience.

Unfortunately, an emergency landing was made by a plane with Russian tourists in Tallinn. A flight from Sharm El Sheikh to St. Petersburg made an emergency landing due to a nighttime attack by Ukrainian drones, which led to the closure of Pulkovo Airport for an indefinite period.

As a result of the events in Krasnodar and Tallinn, the aviation situation in this region is tense due to changes in airport operations and emergency landings of aircraft. Currently, airports are actively working to restore normal flight schedules.
