As of the beginning of 2026, the total amount of wage debts in the region amounts to 418.4 million hryvnias. 6,467 workers did not receive their money on time.
The largest debt is recorded at enterprises in Kharkiv district. There are also debts in Bohodukhiv, Berestynskyi, and Chuhuiv districts.
Despite the positive dynamics of average salaries, the issue of unpaid wages remains relevant for thousands of residents of the region.
It is worth noting that in 2025, the fastest salary growth was recorded in Uzhhorod, Rivne, and Kharkiv - at 25% per annum.
