Actor Zhilyuk on the incident at the Frank Theater: It was an act of protest, not hysteria

Ivan Zhilyuk, a participant in the scandalous audition at the Ivan Franko Theater, explained his behavior as an act of protest against the cynicism of the system and the contempt of the commission towards young talents. He denies that it was an attempt to promote himself in the PR world, despite the action and the release of new episodes of the series in which he starred. The actor felt pain and sympathy for the supporters who came to the audition.

On one hand, I understand that the theater is conservative and focused on admitting 'their own'. But holding the competition was a grand performance. I was just shouting 'Form, form, form' as people stopped seeing each other for who they really are, complex - Zhilyuk explained.

Zhilyuk also emphasized that the audition results were prepared in advance, which was also a reason for his actions. The actor is outraged by the indifference of the commission members towards young artists who arrived from various parts of Ukraine and the world. None of the jury members contacted him after the audition, which intensified his outrage.
