22 Young Ukrainian Athletes Set to Compete at the Balkan Junior Championships

U18 Balkan Athletics Association Championships

Tomorrow, the U18 Championships organized by the Balkan Athletics Association will kick off in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. A delegation of 22 Ukrainian athletes—both male and female—will take part, representing their country across a wide range of track and field events.

Ukraine's Roster

The women's team includes:

  • Alina Antsyferova and Diana Rybachyk in the 100-meter dash
  • Anastasia Hudyma in the 400 meters
  • Zlata Mondzolivska in the 800 meters
  • Valeria Baranova in the standing long jump and long jump
  • Olesia Buina in the 100-meter hurdles
  • Maria Papazova in the 2000-meter steeplechase
  • Anastasia Kovalchuk and Kira Kokosha in the high jump
  • Olesia Dudina and Diana Kostyuk in the triple jump
  • Hanna Pobyvanets in the hammer throw

The men's roster features:

  • Maksym Petrus in the 100 meters
  • Stanislav Holubka in the 110-meter hurdles
  • Danylo Sydorenko in the 2000-meter steeplechase
  • Ivan Pavliukov in the high jump
  • Taras Haidamachenko in the long jump
  • Dmytro Horbivnenko and Matvii Hrynchuk in the triple jump
  • Mark Stepansky and Yaroslav Prokopiev in the discus throw
  • Illia Fedotov in the hammer throw
