At Ukrainian railway stations, passengers can use storage rooms, rest rooms, waiting halls, porter services, and a number of other services. Some of these are available for a fee, while free waiting rooms are provided for certain categories of passengers, reports Ukrzaliznytsia on its official website.

Depending on the station and its facilities, passengers have access to storage rooms and luggage compartments, general and enhanced comfort waiting rooms, rest rooms, as well as mother and child rooms.

The list of services includes passenger service centers. Here you can book a ticket, order a hotel or taxi, and use porter services. At some stations, computers with internet access, email, and other additional services are also available.

In addition, restaurants and buffets operate at the railway complexes. Special facilities are provided for passengers with children, people with disabilities, and official delegations.

The specific set of services and their costs may vary depending on the station.

Who can use waiting rooms for free

Certain round-the-clock waiting rooms are available for free to servicemen who are participants in the ATO/JFO. They operate, in particular, at the stations in Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Lviv, Vinnytsia, Chernivtsi, Rivne, Uzhhorod, Ternopil, Sumy, Ivano-Frankivsk, and several other cities.

To use such a room, it is necessary to have a certificate confirming the relevant status and a travel document for the current or next day.

Close relatives of deceased ATO/JFO participants can also take advantage of this opportunity. It is necessary to provide documents confirming familial ties and a death certificate. Similar conditions apply to the close relatives of the deceased Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred.

Ukrzaliznytsia is also developing digital services. Some additional passenger services can be arranged through a mobile application without contacting ticket offices or service centers at the station.
