Actress Anna Koshmal Accuses Peers of Copying Her Ideas, Posts Evidence Online

Актриса Анна Кошмал звинуває колег у plagіаті її творчості та публікує докази в мережі.

Actress Levels Plagiarism Accusations Against Fellow Artists

Ukrainian actress Anna Koshmal has publicly accused singer Anna Trincher and actress Anastasia Tsymbalara of plagiarizing concepts for promotional videos. On her social media, including Instagram, she posted comparative images which she claims prove the allegations. Koshmal asserts that Trincher and Tsymbalara used her ideas in their own video content without permission.

Koshmal also addressed her colleagues directly, advising them to find new public relations specialists. She remarked:

“Girls, talk to your PR people. Why are they embarrassing you with stolen ideas and concepts? It would be better to find a new scriptwriter and creative director, or you can contact me—I'll write something interesting and unique for you, no problem. Because this doesn't look very professional for your image.”

The actress emphasized that she generates all ideas for her videos independently, citing her educational background. She stated: “I write and generate all ideas myself; my education allows for it. These are just two glaringly obvious examples, but there are dozens more.” Such public disputes over creative ownership are increasingly common in Ukraine's growing entertainment industry.

Plagiarism Controversy Extends to Music Industry

As of now, Anna Trincher and Anastasia Tsymbalara have not commented on Koshmal's accusations. In related news, a separate plagiarism allegation has emerged concerning the song 'Mother Nature', performed by Eva Marija, the winner of the Luxembourg Song Contest 2026. Luxembourg's broadcaster RTL is conducting consultations regarding claims that the song resembles 'Keeping Your Head Up' by British singer Birdy, which was released in 2016.

These incidents highlight the ongoing relevance of intellectual property rights in creative fields, where competition for audience attention can sometimes lead to ethical breaches. Conflicts between artists over copyright and original ideas are a frequent occurrence, sparking discussion in both media and society. Observing how these situations develop offers insight into their potential impact on the artists' reputations and the steps they might take to protect their rights moving forward.

In light of these ongoing controversies, it is worth noting that similar issues have arisen in the music industry, as evidenced by a recent scandal involving producer allegations against BoomBox and Tina Karol regarding rights misappropriation in their album 'Rubicon'. Such instances underline the growing concerns over creative integrity in the Ukrainian entertainment scene.
