The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, warned Ukrainians not to expect completely peaceful years in the near future, urging them to prepare for possible challenges. According to him, peaceful life does not mean constant combat actions, but society needs to be ready to respond to danger at any moment.

The issue or the happiness is that our society will have to realize that, well let's say, there will hardly be absolutely peaceful, non-threatening life in the coming years. I do not mean that we will be fighting all the time. No, it is not about that. But rather that we must be ready for countermeasures, including armed countermeasures, at any moment; this will be, as they say, both a challenge and our opportunity. For our society, that is. And we will have to live with this.

According to MP Roman Kostenko, after the end of the active phase of the war, Ukraine does not plan to immediately cancel mobilization and martial law. The country will maintain a strong army, and demobilization will be conducted gradually. Deputy Head of the President's Office Pavlo Palisa emphasized that even with the conclusion of a ceasefire, mobilization in Ukraine will not stop.

It is important to maintain stable readiness to respond to possible threats and be ready to defend one's country at any moment.
