Оновлення цін на паливо в Україні: нові тарифи на бензин та дизель з 23 квітня

Fuel Prices in Ukraine as of April 23, 2026

On April 23, 2026, Ukrainian gas station networks updated their fuel prices. The average cost of A-95 petrol stands at 73.31 hryvnias per liter, while diesel fuel is priced at 88.63 hryvnias per liter. Price adjustments were implemented by chains including UPG, OKKO, WOG, KLO, SOCAR, Ukrnafta, and BRSM-Nafta. This update reflects ongoing shifts in the country's energy market, which is heavily influenced by external factors.

Fuel Prices Across Gas Station Networks

  • UPG: A-95 petrol - 72.90 hryvnias, diesel - 86.90 hryvnias
  • OKKO: A-95 petrol - 75.90 hryvnias, diesel - 89.90 hryvnias
  • WOG: Similar prices for diesel and petrol
  • KLO: A-95 petrol - 72.70 hryvnias, diesel - 88.90 hryvnias
  • SOCAR: A-95 petrol - 75.90 hryvnias, diesel - 89.90 hryvnias
  • Ukrnafta: A-95 petrol - 69.90 hryvnias, diesel - 86.90 hryvnias
  • BRSM-Nafta: A-95 petrol - 69.99 hryvnias, diesel - 87.99 hryvnias

The reasons behind these fuel price changes are under discussion, highlighting import dependence and global market quotations. Specifically, over 85% of light petroleum products in Ukraine rely on imports. Pavlo Kyrylenko pointed out that a key objective factor driving price increases is that, since last year, nearly all light petroleum products have depended on imports due to the shutdown of Ukraine's largest oil refinery.

Launched on March 20, 2026, the "National Cashback" fuel program offers a 15% cashback on diesel, 10% on petrol, and 5% on autogas. The maximum monthly cashback per person is 1,000 hryvnias, and the program runs until May 1, 2026. This initiative aims to ease the financial burden on consumers amid rising fuel costs.

Diesel prices in Ukraine have surged by 33.9%. March diesel supply volumes remained at 2025 levels. Serhiy Kuyun stated that there is no diesel shortage currently, nor is one anticipated. However, other factors contributing to price increases include rising demand, reduced supply and inventory levels, higher actual purchase costs for petroleum products, increased logistics expenses, and the inability to compare storage conditions and volumes for fuel within Ukraine.

Thus, fuel price changes in Ukraine result from a combination of import dependence, global quotations, and domestic economic factors.

The fuel market situation in Ukraine mirrors global trends tied to fluctuations in world oil and energy prices. The country's reliance on imports threatens price stability, particularly amid unpredictable shifts in global markets. The introduction of the "National Cashback" program could be a significant step in supporting consumers, though its effectiveness will depend on how the pricing landscape evolves going forward.
