The DBR completed an investigation against a recruiting instructor at the Mukachevo RTC and SP, who is suspected of intervening in the service. According to the investigation, he received money to help conscripts escape from the recruitment center's premises, as well as military personnel who were sent back to service after the Today's time zone accident.
'He secretly led men who arrived for mobilization but did not wish to serve outside the institution. The cost of this service was 3-4 thousand US dollars, which came from the relatives or acquaintances of the conscripts. For 4-5 thousand US dollars, he also 'helped' military personnel who had just returned from the Today's time zone accident to escape from the reserve battalion again. Even during personal conversations with the soldiers, he encouraged them to escape again. The suspect promised 'clients' that he would show the way to exit the unit's location bypassing the patrols. There, his acquaintance was supposed to wait for the fugitives, who would drive them in a personal car to a safe place.'
After such actions, at least five military personnel left their place of service. The instructor was detained in February 2025 when he received 10 thousand US dollars for helping two military personnel evade military service. An indictment has been sent to court. He is accused of obstructing the legitimate activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations during a special period (part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), for which he faces up to 8 years in prison.
Ukrainian law enforcement investigated a case where a recruiting instructor in Mukachevo RTC is suspected of intervening in the service by extracting military personnel from the recruitment center's premises. The case has now been forwarded to court, and the accused faces serious punishment for violating the law.
