Drones destroyed S-400 'Triumph' in the Russian Federation
Novorossiysk in the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation became the scene of a large-scale destruction of enemy S-400 'Triumph' launchers and radars using long-range drones. This information was conveyed by a source in the Security Service of Ukraine.
The special operation carried out by the Alpha Special Operations Center of the SBU took place yesterday and was successful. Satellite images show the destruction of four launchers and two radars of the S-400 air defense system.
'Each destroyed system poses a potential threat to defense, which can be used by Ukrainian drones and missiles,' the source in the SBU noted.
Results of the operation
According to information, the military unit of the Kuban Red Banner regiment had approximately 12 S-400 launchers, so there is a possibility that other systems were also damaged. The operation was conducted to eliminate the enemy's air defense with the support of the Security and Defense Forces.
Other attacks on facilities in the RF
Outside of Novorossiysk, Defense Forces units also attacked the Ryazan oil refinery and the oil refinery near Saratov. Both facilities sustained damage from drone attacks.
Ukrainian drones and missiles continue to demonstrate high effectiveness in destroying enemy facilities, especially those posing a threat to Ukraine.
