Ukrainian Forces Liberated the Village of Mirove
Our forces launched a successful offensive in the Kupiansk direction and liberated the village of Mirove. This information was shared by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), reports 'Glavkom'.
Specialists confirmed this event with geolocation video materials, showing that our forces managed to retake Mirove, located northwest of Kupiansk, and continued the offensive towards Holubivka.
ISW also refers to reports from Russian sources about an attempt by Ukrainian troops to launch a counterattack from the southwest of Kupiansk. According to their claims, this attempt was repelled by Russian forces. However, even some Russian sources confirm the success of the Ukrainian troops in this area.
Russian troops tried to break through the defense of the 33rd Separate Mechanized Brigade in Volodymyrivka in Donetsk, but their attempts ended in failure. Three enemy armored vehicles ended up in a swamp, and the assault troops had to drop directly into the water.
During the fighting in the Kupiansk direction, the Ukrainian forces managed to liberate the village of Mirove, which is an important step in the strategic advancement of our army in eastern Ukraine. Russian troops continue to attack, but Ukrainian forces demonstrate high combat skill and defend their positions.
