China is selling components for drones to Russia worth more than $60 million. Over the past two years, Chinese suppliers have provided various parts to Russian manufacturers for creating unmanned aerial vehicles, more quickly than assembling them in sequence. This information was disclosed by the publication 'Hvylya', referring to a report by The Telegraph.

According to the investigation, in 2023-2024, Chinese companies provided Russian enterprises with components and materials worth approximately 47 million pounds. The manufacturers most active in these supplies were those subject to international sanctions due to their involvement in creating Iranian 'Shahed' drones.

The study indicated that companies from the Alabuga zone received various materials from China for drone production: aircraft engines, semiconductors, metal alloys, optical lenses, and more.

More than 90 Chinese companies participated in this process, supplying a variety of components for drone creation, including vital parts such as fiberglass and aviation engines. Moreover, some of these companies have come under Ukrainian sanctions due to their cooperation with Russia.

As a result of China and Russia's collaboration in drone manufacturing, Russian companies received the necessary components and raw materials that were essential for their operations during import bans. This opens up further opportunities for collaboration between the countries in the field of drone manufacturing and other technological solutions.
