Ukraine's former acting Minister of Culture and Information Policy, Rostyslav Karandieiev, has been formally notified of suspicion for allegedly helping eight men of draft age illegally cross the state border. According to investigators, after border guards initially denied these individuals permission to leave, Karandieiev sent a second letter to the State Border Guard Service requesting their exit as members of a musical group. His actions are being prosecuted under Part 2 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
