Attacks on critical infrastructure in the conflict zone between Russia and Ukraine, according to the regional director of the Red Cross, complicate citizens' access to essential services such as electricity, heating, and water. This can lead to serious problems during the cold winter months.



The onset of winter also leads to overloads in systems that are already damaged due to cyberattacks on critical infrastructure. Recent attacks in Ukraine have resulted in power outages and pose serious threats to the population. Specifically, it is anticipated that by early December 2025, the volume of electricity supplies from the European Union will increase.



In the conflict zone between Russia and Ukraine, cyberattacks on critical infrastructure are becoming a serious issue, complicating citizens' access to necessary services and creating threats to the life and safety of the population. Immediate measures are needed to protect the infrastructure from such attacks to ensure the safety and well-being of citizens.
