Russian military forces in the Kupiansk direction have changed their tactics and will now attempt to infiltrate Ukrainian defensive positions in small groups. This was reported by the officer of the 1st battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine 'Burevi' Vitaliy Markiv during a telethon.

According to the military, the occupiers have ceased large-scale assaults and will now try to act alone or in pairs, using thermal imaging cloaks for camouflage. Often, Russians choose open areas of the front where they expect the least likelihood of detection.

It is extremely difficult to spot the enemy as they are carefully camouflaged, hiding and moving slowly. The speed of the Russians' movements is compared to that of a turtle. The soldiers from the 'Burevi' brigade are studying this tactic and tracking routes where they least expect their potential adversary.

The tactics of the Russian opponent on the evolutionary path

The soldier noted that the war has evolved so much that the tactics of using military personnel are changing actively. 'Since the beginning of the invasion, when the opponent moved in large groups and columns, they are now using individual fighters. This indicates that the opponent analyzes the results of their actions, tests the defense, and accordingly applies the next tactics. Ultimately, the soldier learns,' the officer of the 'Burevi' brigade added.

Russian troops have changed their tactics in the Kupiansk direction, shifting from mass assaults to actions in small groups, making it difficult for the Ukrainian side to detect and counter them. Ukrainian military personnel have already adapted to the new tactics and are carefully studying possible routes of enemy actions to be prepared for any scenarios.
