The Ukrainian mobile operator lifecell has decided to help its subscribers avoid annoying calls and messages by launching a new service 'Number Blocking'. Now you can hide your number during outgoing calls.
According to the company's press service, lifecell is responding to the growing problem of unwanted communications. One request can lead to a stream of unnecessary advertising offers and calls, so the new service aims to control such situations.
'You just called to clarify information, but received annoying messages and intrusive calls with offers? Now we have a solution!'
The new service from lifecell allows subscribers to hide their phone number during outgoing calls. It is enough to activate or deactivate the function at their own discretion if the subscriber wants to remain anonymous.
- The number will be unknown to the interlocutor;
- Activation is possible through the My lifecell app or using the USSD code *123*2547#;
- The cost of the service is 80 UAH for 4 weeks.
It is important to consider that when calling other networks, there may be restrictions on access to this service. Also, it is important to remember that lifecell plans changes in tariffs starting from November 1 this year.
